Silent Love - A Letter

Every day I catch up on you, I see this horrible self-destruction. Just the little things - the self-doubt, the emotional imagery, the negative notions - are what tears down the soul, your's and mine. You will never know quite how much this heart sinks at those commentaries and how I long to sweep you from under those dark clouds to the brilliant sky above, away from the cliff I fear you'll fall in to. There's more than friendship within the section of my heart you reside, but more like a unique kind of love that I'll never quite understand. And as I see you hurt, I feel a deep ache from that residence within my chest.

So smile, just once, for me, and know that I love you.
